Taste the exotic flavors of Southeast Asia in a Thai restaurant on a Hong Kong street.

To draw the attention of passers-by and convey the shop’s theme, the design team chose orange as the main color tone for this project. A metal front gate is installed at the storefront to emphasize the down-to-earth vibe characteristic of Thailand. The folding windows help capture the brightness and warmth of natural light while embodying a connotation of Southeast Asia climate. At the same time, the window platform doubles as an extra dining space. The culinary-themed wall painting inside the shop prompt customers’ stomachs to rumble. Coupled with the Thai decoration inside the shop such as timber and metal chairs, customers are transported for a moment to a local diner in the Land of Smiles.
